Nuevo Portil is one of the most recent courses, inaugurated in November 2001. Designed by Alfonso Viador features wide fairways, gentle greens and several doglegs. The slopes on the course are gentle so it is pleasant to walk round.The course covers 46 hectares and is 6,040 metres long. From the fairways there is a splendid view of the Huelva coastline, with its enormous beaches, dunes, the sea and a wood full of pines and ancient juniper trees. Situated one hour drive from Faro , the club is surrounded by 11,000 hectares of municipal pine forest and overlooks the Natural Park of Marismas del Piedras and Flecha de El Rompido
